magento product image upload

I am using a 3rd party magento marketplace extension that allows account holders to add their own products into my magento marketplace store. will this extension be compatible with this marketplace module so that when account holders upload images for their products they will be optimized? current testing shows product images being uploaded from phones and the images files are too big. typically 1-3Mb. thanks

Yes you can optimize all images contained in your website with ImageRecycle.
You can launch the optimization manually or periodically through a cron task.
