How many pictures can I optimize initially? After the trial, do my pictures un optimize or is the trial version a permanent solution and I buy credits for ongoing photos? Looking to optimize but don't want to invest too much time into this if in 15 days it disappears if I don't buy something extra. Have an ongoing photo add-on so a credit makes sense, just don't want to add something that goes away if I don't keep putting money into it.

Hi Ben,

I would say based on the average size of what have been optimized by our previous customers about 1000 images.
But it depends of the size of your images.

Your images once optimized will stay optimized forever, they are updated on your server, so you'll always have the optimized version locally.

Hi Damien,

I went ahead and bought the $10 for the 1,000 images. Image Recycler optimized as best it could but after going through all the images it was only able to optimize them 38% and when I run a google pagespeed test the first thing it says I need to do is optimize my images which means something didn't work right in this program for it to not do the only thing I was looking for it to do.

What can we do to correct this?

The error reported by Google Page speed is not about optimization but about resizing.
You have images that have been resized in html in your content it means that you load a full images to display it in a smaller size.

You have to use the right image size in your content, you can do it manually by editing the post/page where your image is inside or use a plugin like WP Meta SEO which has a feature to fix it : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-meta-seo/
