Images not processed automatically

In the Component Management I see quite often that a lot of images are not processed and I need to do this manually.
Do you have an idea whats wrong and what settings I should do?

Hi,
With the default configuration it should process it automatically.
Make sure you have enabled the auto optimize method on the advanced parameters tab and correctly configured the cron task in the case you use the crontab option.
If you've still the issue you can open a support ticket so we can check with you.

Maybe that is the problem! I have set AJAX--- should i use Cronjob instead?
And what do i need to do?

Ajax is the default option.
It should work on most cases.
