Image Optimization for Joomla K2 Articles

Hi, I'm trying out the Joomla extension on our site and found that image optimization for uploaded images only working for Joomla articles but not the K2 articles in Joomla. Pls clarify the the Joomla extension supports K2 articles ?

Hi,

Sure, you can optimize images for K2 or any other Joomla component as you can select individually the folder to optimize.

Hi,

Yes, I'm able to do that. In addition, will the extension optimise uploaded images automatically for newly published articles in K2 ?

I doesn't seem to be working for me in K2. Nothing happens when I upload an image in a K2 article or when I save the K2 article. I verified further by checking the uploaded images in the backend using the 'Image Recycle Manager' and it shows the uploaded images indeed not optimised. I works only if I manually optimise the images at the backend.

Hi,

It depends of the timing defined in the configuration. The optimization can run after a minute, an hour or a day.
If that timing does not apply please drop us a support ticket, the developer can check that for you ;) (menu My account > Support ticket)
